ABOUT Marcus Plummer
Meet Marcus, a resilient young man with an incredible journey. In 2005, he and his family relocated to North Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Growing up, Marcus found peace and joy in playing both basketball and baseball, which instilled a deep love for sports. Following in the footsteps of his father and older brother, who were proud alumni of Grambling State University, Marcus chose to continue his education there. During his four years at Grambling, he discovered a passion for photography and documented the university's athletic events. Despite a setback in his own basketball career during his senior year of high school, which led him to pick up a camera, Marcus's dedication paid off when he received a SWAC basketball ring, a testament to his commitment to both sports and photography.
